CUSTOM RANKS

I put in my request for a custom rank, but am getting a little discouraged when I read a few posts how some have been waiting months for them. Is that true?

Real life plays a big part, though. You have to remember that Shirley is a real person, with a real job, and works long hours. After that, she comes here, and has to deal with the administrating end of the board. She has to approve the new members, view their questionairres, send out questionairres to people who are waiting to become members, and watch for posts that violate the rules and need to be deleted. (This part doesn't occur terribly often - but it does occur) Then, she volunteers to help when she can with the Keeperships and makes the Custom ranks, and it takes time and energy. She doesn't ask anything in return, so I think we can be patient with her. She does a lot for us. She may not post every day - but she's working on our behalf every day, even when you don't see it.

Amen, Savannah! And, it doesn't matter if people post some or a lot. Everyone is equal on this board so when they are eligible, and when Shirley has time in addition to everything else she does, she will get to it. Whomever has requested one, she hasn't forgottten, she will get to them WHEN SHE HAS TIME.

Please, calm down. I meant no harm! I think Shirley is nice. She helped me out here once and it was much appreciated.

I was basically stating that poor JW has been waiting for a few months, and he has been here longer than I.

And believe me, I know we ALL have REAL lives, I do have a job and family, and not just this forum. Wave

I apologize for not getting some of the custom ranks done... but as Savannah & Misti pointed out.... sometimes things get too busy for me and I do what I can.

I made sure I set some time aside tonight to work on the custom ranks and have sent a PM to everyone who needs to be more clear on what they want on their custom ranks (this includes Jacob).

Remember, I need two titles, a small one that goes under your username and the main title that goes in the custom rank picture. Also, what color you prefer.

If I have all the required information, it will be easier for me to create your custom rank.
