Awww, don't give up, Marilyn! Smiley Hug

(This would be so easy if one of us could just sit down next to you and show you instead of trying to tell you. It's one of those things where when you figure out how it's done, you think "Now why was that so hard??" LOL!)

Anyway..........Here's what each quote should look like:

[ quote="LIWnut"]Ugh, I give up!
I added a space in the first set of brackets so you can see what it should look like. So, however many quotes you want to add, each person's quote has to have the beginning and end quote brackets. [ quote="whoever"] Here's where the quote goes
Just make sure that you have:
at the front of the quote, and
at the end, and you'll get it! Smiley Hug

I'm having trouble with it too. I get the first one o.k., but when I
try to add the second one it doesn't work for me either. I'll have to keep trying.

So do I start with the first quote or the second? And then where do I find the other with the name? I think the name part is what is confusing me.

Don't feel bad...I haven't even attempted it. I guess when I have an uninterrupted minute I'll have to sit down and try it.

Ah! I see what you're asking. Okay.........so, you click on "quote" at the right hand side of someone's message. Once that comes up, copy their quote. It'll include all of the brackets, etc. that you need. Then.......click back to the thread, and click "quote" on the next person you want to quote. Once that comes up, you "paste" the first quote in, and you have both quotes right there.

And if you want a whole bunch of quotes, just keep hitting quote, copying and pasting, hitting back and hitting another quote and paste what you copied from the other one into it and copy it again.....over and over........ Huh?

I got it done too, but I didn't find it as easy as everyone else did.

I never found a way to hit a back button and find that quote button that looked like the original one. Maybe I misunderstood, lol.
