Suggestions from members

Hi all

I hope everyone likes the new colors of the forum. I will try to see if I can change the colors of the main forum to look like this one. The control panel is different so I am not sure if it can be done or not.

As you can see, i have taken the Ads out of the forum and probably more new surprises will come.

I want the members here to feel right at home so I'm happy to take any suggestions you have. Say it on this thread or send me a PM. You can also tell me what you wish to see and if it can be done, we'll see what we can do.

Since I want the forum to have a 'prairie theme', I am taking suggestions for some new forum icons. At this time we have these:

<---- New Posts

<----- No New Posts

<---- Post locked

Instead of those icons, what do you guys think would be nice?
If you like it the way it is, let me know as well.

like: Almanzo, Charles, Caroline, Mr.Edwards, Laura, Mrs. Oleson

I can't wait for the new changes here and at the other forum.

Too bad everyone couldn't move over to this forum. The other one slower. Do we need 2 forums?
I like the Back To The Top button at the other forum. Can we get that one over here too?

It's underneath the avitars, at the other forum.
Would it be possible to make the yellow arrows bigger? They are too small and it's hard to click on them.

Now thats a thought. Why couldn't we move everything over here. Shut down the other one. Send out another mass email explaining. This forum is so much faster. Just a thought.

I am liking the look of this forum - I think the colors are "prairieish" :) I can't really think of any suggestions right now, but thank you for opening the floor to us, Shirley. We appreciate all your work!

How about an avatar gallery? We are thinking of putting one on the DQ board which also uses phpbb. Just a thought.

I honestly don't know what is going to happen with the main forum. It is having a lot of problems and if things continue that way, we might have to transfer to this forum.

I just put the 'Back to top' button. Also, as Savannah mentioned, the 'HOME' key in your keyboard can also be used. :)

Yes, I started an Avatar Gallery. Anyone that wants to do Avatars and submit them for members to use, please send me a PM and I will add the picture to the Gallery. Thumbsup

I have one at my forum, and the few people there, like it. I'm a bit into photography and I wouldn't mind sharing my photos with you guys. As a matter of fact, I just took over fifty at a local park today. There's a really pretty waterfall there, and it was my main focus.

Maybe we could carry our Actors threads over from the other board. If you want to talk about a certain member of the cast, chat about them in their thread. That way all threads aren't all about so and so. It makes it easier to find the info you want about that person.

It seems this new forum doesn't allow for messages as long as the old one did. A couple of my fan fics I had to post in two messages. Is there a way to change that?

Also, if you try to post another message right away, you get a note saying you can't post again so soon. Is that also something we can change?
