I see now, yes you are right about the wrong section. I should have put this in Books, Poetry & writing. A moderator may move it if they would like to. Sorry for the mix up. |

| | Yes Patricia Polacco books are really awesome. She even does her own art work. I used to live right next door to where she is living now, at that time Meteor Ridge farm, which is her 5,000 square foot home now, was a Antique shop called Plantation Antiques. I had many Journeys up and down that drive in my younger days. The Lady that owned the home when we moved in the neighborhood was Neil, Neil was her Middle name but that is what she went by and she was like a second grandmother to me, she also had a helper and friend who lived with her named Phil, When she passed on in 1987 she left the home and the land to Phil and Phil got married. When Phil died the home was sold to Patricia Polacco, world renoun author of Childrens books. We did not live in the neighborhood at the time Patricia purchased the home, but I have been through it since it has been restored and it is beautiful. She has a website for all who are interested just type in her name in your search bar, she writes about her family in different books, she is a very interesting lady with beautiful books for younger readers. She has pictures of her home on her website and many other things too. |
