| I read it a long time ago, right around when RTA went off the air. I agree that the show was much more interesting. I think that's partially because Gus Pike was always one of my favorite characters. The other thing is too that the story really was about Sarah Stanley and even though the show started out that way, it didn't remain that way. It focused on so many other characters to make it interesting. And while LMM uses wonderful descriptions in her books, I don't want to read them over and over again. There are huge portions of text that I skip when I reread any of her books.
I will say one thing for Sullivan Entertainment, even if they do take a lot of creative license with how to create the story, they know LMM's books. It shows in everything they produce.

| I agree with Cheryl too. I skim over LMM's descriptions when I read any of her books. It just doesn't keep me interested to read that stuff. The stories are great though. I loved RTA, more than AGG. _________________

| I always skip the looong description in the books too when she describes the nature or weather. It gets too boring and I don´t need that when I read the books _________________
