I agree! In fact, I am debating with myself on whether or not I should order the rest of the books in Janette Oak's series. (I've read the first four). I have a pile of books to read, but I found the first 4 so refreshing to read.

I actually just finished "Breaking Dawn", the last book in the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer. I never thought I would have enjoyed those books, but they were actually very good!

Gin, I am tempted to just go and buy that new book but I really think I need to read the first 2 again. I remember when I was reading them the first time, I couldn't read fast enough, I was enthralled. Even though reading them the second time isn't the same because you remember what happens, or guess what happens next. I'll start the first one this weekend.

which Beverly Lewis Books are you talking about? the Courtship of Nellie Fisher? I loved those ones. i can't wait to read the next one. my grandma is reading it and then me next. i love those.

The Book Of Daniel by E.L. Doctorow. I ordered it off of Amazon.com. Recently saw the movie and want to read the book.

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. it's for english class. I'm a little more than halfway through it, ahead of everyone else in my class, and so far I'm enjoying the book a lot more than I thought I would!

Savannah, when I read it I got bogged down in the little "rabbit legend" stories that popped up every few chapters. Do you think those were a sticking point for you, too?

I ended up just skipping them. It made for a smoother read.

If you like Christian Fiction....go check out anything Lori Wick has written. She has several series.....I have just completed the series...A Place called Home. This is a 4 book series.

I'm going to now started reading anything related to Christmas....I usually do that this time of year.
