I had a treasury of Little Golden Books that had many great stories in it: The Pokey Puppy, The Little Engine That Could, and some story that follows a boy throughout his day whose title I can't remember.

As I got a bit older I liked Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, E.B. White's books, and anything by Judy Blume.

I always loved any of the Dr. Seuss books. Especially 'Green Eggs and Ham'.

'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie'
'Junie B Jones'
'El Louise'
Five Little Monkeys'
'Wishbone'

Dr. Seuss was my favorite, too. I especially loved Green Eggs and Ham. I would read it on a boat, I would read it with a goat, I would read it at the fair, I would read it anywhere. batEyes

:Hahaha:

Did you read it at night? Or during a fight? Would you read it at bed, or while eating some bread? batEyes (You know, this could get addictive. LOL)

I would read it at the dump, I would read it with the mumps, I would read it with my sister, I would read it playing Twister.

I did not read it on the stairs, I had to draw the line somewhere. batEyes

Did you read it to the dog, who had played in the fog? Did you read it while eating? While artillery was greeting? batEyes

I would read it to the dog, who had frolicked in the fog, I would read it during artillery, to my uncle who smelled like a distillery.

Did Uncle Otis read it, too? Or see pink elephants out of the blue? Did he read it late at night? Or while watching an ugly fight?

(You gonna make me?!) batEyes

Uncle Otis read it too, and Gomer, Floyd and Thelma Lou. It was perused by dear Aunt Bee, and phonetically by Ernest T. batEyes

OH! Did he read it while throwing rocks? Rocks in socks around the blocks? Did he read it in the jail, and then, again, while out on bail?

:Hahaha:

Would you read it in a box? In a box that has no locks? Would you read it in a chair? Or while you're running from a bear?

Would you read it with a moose, or do you prefer Mother Goose? Would you read it with Andy's Opie, or do you enjoy Snow White's Dopey?

I would read it on the prairie, with Mary, Laura, Nels and Carrie. If green eggs and ham are what they want, I'd suggest Nellie's Restaurant. batEyes

There are no Seussian rhymes today, perhaps the urge has gone away. Or maybe Rhonda and Savannah hopped on a Honda and went to Havana. Whistle

We ate a banana on the way to Havana, and read Dr. Seus while we were chased by a goose. Thumbsup

Bananas are tasty and never leave messes, and Fife wants to remind you that Seuss has three esses. batEyes

The banana peel slipped, and fell on a rug . . . .and somehow I sense that you look rather smug. Frying pan
Seuss had three esses, that much is true. But after our trip, he's now down to two. batEyes

Did Seuss go to Vegas? That's what my guess is. Many people have gone there and then lost their esses. batEyes
