November 4: Daylight Saving Time Ends....Fall Back  November 6: Happy Birthday ILuvMichael! November 6: Election Day. GO VOTE!!!  November 10, 1941: Grace Ingalls Dow (Laura's sister) dies. She married but had no children.   November 11: Remembrance Day, Canada!  November 11: Veteran's Day!  November 1863: Abraham Lincoln proclaims the last Thursday in November as a national Day of Thanksgiving.  November 22: Happy Thanksgiving  Please list any birthdays that I might have missed, or other happenings...thanks!

| It is on the 22nd this year.....but history says Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday in November as a day to give thanksgiving....it must have changed through time...... |

| Yes, it changed in the 40's, I believe, so that there would be one more week of shopping before Christmas. I just checked this. FDR did change Thanksgiving once to the 3rd Thursday, but after that Congress made it officially the 4th Thursday in November. _________________
