I would have sung, "Leaving on a Jet Plane" but I don't fly. We're heading down to the Outer Banks of NC tomorrow night. Hope you all have a great week and a happy, healthy, and safe Independence Day.

Hey Susie! The vacation was great. The drive down was awful; it took us 17 hours instead of the usual 11.5. Traffic jams and speed traps everywhere. The drive home was much easier.

As for stories, the Christmas shop that had closed two years ago reopened, so we went there twice. I like Christmas just a little. LOL! The fireworks were awesome!!! The NC School of Performing Arts played for over an hour before the fireworks--which lasted another half hour. I read three books, completed the Vacation Bible School scripts for church, and began another LHOP fan fic, so it was a great week. Spent lots of time relaxing on the beach, though the girls fight just as much there as here. LOL!

Thanks ladies. Yes, Amy it was lots of fun. Ask my Divas, I can do Christmas all year long--which reminds me, those 8 trees aren't going to decorate themselves, I should start looking at what I need to decorate this year. LOL!
