I have just watched the episode where the 2 main characters meet as children and there is a term they say be my bo

I remember watching a previous episode and someone saying the same thing

anyone have any ideas

Do you mean the episode where Ma & Pa (Charles & Caroline) are shown as children? That one is called "I Remember, I Remember" and is from season 4.

before the i remember there was an episode where they mentioned the beau word. maybe it was when mary went with charles to some ball

Kind of related but not really - if a beau is what we now call "boyfriend", what did they call "girlfriends" back then? Was just "my girl" good enough? LOL, I remember Luke Simms referring to Nellie as "kinda like me girl".
