| Yep, it was Irv Hartwig, the blacksmith. Oddly enough, the "Irv Hartwig, Blacksmith" sign can still be seen in later episodes. You'd think Albert would have ripped that thing down and burned it.  _________________

| Yes. I tought about it many, but many times...And this makes Hyphas (the one of the "Little House Encyclopedy") to forge one of his wild theories... He assured that before Mr. Carter established himself in Walnut Grove, the town remained TEN YEARS without a blacksimth. I don't know how did he figure it out! Vanesa. _________________
