| Hello, My name is actually Mindy--I chose the name Mary White after a relatively tomboyish, spunky young woman who lived, albeit a short life, in my mothers home town (there is actually a movie called "Mary White" which is about her). I grew up watching Little House and I loved it then, love it now. I used to do a dead-on impression of Nellie Oleson, but outgrew it long ago. My mom had even made me a little house dress when they made patterns in the early 80's. Glad to be here! Mindy |

Yes, William Allen White. The house they lived in the movie & real life is only about 2 blocks from where my grandparents lived at the time. Her spunkiness always reminded me of Laura.
