Hi everyone,

Since I'm new here I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. I am 18 years old and I come from the Netherlands, yes that's that very very small country somewhere in Europe... Nevertheless they air Little House on the Prairie here too, and from the first episode I saw, it was the Raccoon episode, two years ago I fell in love with it. I really liked the whole family thing and the as long as where together attitude, we sometimes lack nowadays. My favourite character is Caroline, she has become kind of my hero, when I'm older and hopefully have children of my own I hope to be a mother just as she is. People do look at me kind of strange when I tell them that I'm a Little House fan, most of my friends where like 'Little what??' And most of the older people where like: 'O, I used to watch that when I was a kid!' But since I was already a Julie Andrews fan (The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins) they knew I acted a little as if I was born in the wrong era, so they do not mind, and although they tease I can handle it Wink In the meantime I collected all the seasons on DVD, the Pilot and the last three films and I'm saving money to buy the books. With my membership on this forum I hope to chat a little with other Little House fans so that I'm not the only one who thinks that the Ingalls are the nicest (televison) family there is!

welcome to the forum! I'm 16 and I'm a huge Little House fan!! other than the Ricardos on I Love Lucy, the Ingalls family (as well as the Garveys and even the Olesons) on Little House are my favorite television families! I inherited my love for this show from my mom, and I own all of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books as well as 6 of the seasons of the tv show. I hope to see you more often on the forum!
