Are you fluent in another language?

=========

I'm fluent in Spanish. I wish I could be fluent in Italian, Portuguese and ASL too, but I only know a little of those.

Unfortunatley, I am not. I took a few years of Spanish in high school, but remember very little.

I wish I was, but unfortunately I'm not. I took Spanish for all 4 years in HS, and also for a semester in college, but can't remember too much of it. I would like to be fluent with it, and also ASL too, Carol. I learned very little of that and bought a book. I used to know how to spell out my name.

Nope, English is the only language I speak, unless (since I married hubby) I've become fluent in "Redneck."

I haven't practiced my ASL in over a year, so I'm not sure how fluent I'd be.

Spanish? I know *very* little........just enough to be able to exchange a friendly greeting, and ask about some good food. But that's it. It's very limited - when a Hispanic man at the store kept calling me "Linda". . . I thought he had mistaken me for a friend of his whose name was Linda. *smacks forehead*

I understand a good amount of German, but speak less than I understand. (And write even less) The same with Dutch.

I checked yes, but I'm not sure if ASL counts, since, technically, it's English. I still have a bad habit of slipping into SEE (sign exact english) though since I don't sign as often as I used to.

I picked "Yes" - owing to a good dictionary.
My boyfriend once described my english skills with "She can survive in a bar" - well, I guess this is enough for a "yes" anyhow. ;)

I was passable fluent in russian too, but as I didn't use it for a long time, I forgot everything.

I don't think those gestures you make to other drivers really qualify as ASL, Larry.
