Wired News reports on a recent survey of 1,000 people in which the participants reported getting an average of six hours and 40 minutes of sleep on weeknights. The same participants estimated they would need around 40 more minutes of sleep to perform their best at work, and almost one-third of the participants admitted to falling asleep or becoming very sleepy at work at some point in the last month. We all know how important sleep is to increased productivity at work and all-around happiness and well-being, so clearly many of us are facing some serious sleep debt.

I think I get about 6 hours... Sleep

If I get sleepy I go to the bathroom and take a 3 minute nap lol

I'm usually in the 5-6 hour range.

I'm in the 5-6 hour range too. At night.
But I always get my afternoon nap that I would die without.

If I go to bed when I'd like to go to bed, and get up when I'm supposed to get up (Most days I do) I get roughly 10 hours of sleep.

I usually get around 7, if I'm lucky.

Not enough.......I get to sleep, but if something wakes me, I have insomnia the rest of the night and just toss and turn............

5 - 6, if I'm lucky. But I never get a nice, long solid block of sleep. I either wake up several times a night, or I'm like Rhonda, and just can't fall back asleep after being woken up, no matter how tired I am.

I wish I could sleep like I did when I was younger!

I sleep 6-7 hours. Thankfully, I have no problem sleeping and in the morning, once my alarm clock rings, I'm up.

Most nights, I get between 6 - 7 hours of sleep, unless I'm having a night where I just can't fall asleep. I generally feel okay, although I do get pretty sleepy sometimes in the afternoon at work, around 3ish. I usually attribute that to boredom, because if I'm actually into what I'm doing, I don't feel quite so bad. But if I have nothing to do at for a long period of time, it's tough to feel awake.

I get 7-8 hours- but I can surrvive a few days on less. Thumbsup

At this moment I get 9 to 11 hours of sleep, but I'm sitting at home all the time because of an eye infection...

Normally I get 7 to 8 hours and if I don't get that, just beware!
