I'm a 48% Yankee. It said "Barely a Yankee". Pretty good for a Canadian. A lot of my answers matched the Great Lakes region, which is where I come from, just on the other side of the border.

52% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

Surprising, since I've never even travelled south! LOL.

Hey, did you say 'Devil's Night' for the Halloween one? I didn't know it was ONLY a Michigan thing!

Absolutely! And I had no idea it was only a Michigan saying either. Well, it's mostly a Detroit thing, I suppose. In case anyone's wondering, the people of Detroit used to "celebrate" the night before Halloween by setting fire to (mostly) abandoned buildings. There would literally be hundreds of fires. Those merry pranksters!

I don't think it's nearly as bad now though, is it, Amy?

Living right outside Detroit, as I do, it's not as bad as it was before. Nowadays they call it "Angel's Night" in Detroit and volunteerns patrol the streets all night looking for fires, or people who look suspicious. They also have an early curfew for that night as well. Fires are actually lower on that night than any typical night since they started the Angel's Night patrols.

I didn't kow that, Pam! What a great idea! Thumbsup And no, Rob...it's not a big deal around here much anymore. Although we did get 'TP'd' one year! GreenSmile
