| This is also one of my favorites--for many reasons. Never mind the slight slip up in the opening narrative where Laura says December was Rose's birthday--which is true for the real Rose--when Rose was obviously born in the summer in the show (Days of Sunshine, Days of Shadow).
This episode explored the grief of a mother over the loss of her child, showcased Kevin Hagen's amazing talent, and is actually something real from Laura's past.

| I wouldn't change anything about this one either Cheryl. One of the few gems from that season. _________________

| Keep it. Since Laura really had a boy who died before he could have a name. However we MUST do some changes, since Jenny will be not present in the episode, and if Royal's family is living in WG, they must be showed there to support Laura and Almanzo.

| That's why this is one of my favorite episodes, because it focused on Doc Baker. When he breaks down after finding out Rose will survive...it's just some of the best acting I've ever seen from Kevin Hagen. _________________ All my life, I wanted to be like you - Laura to Ma in The Last Farewell |

| Kevin Hagen was an excellent actor and he showed it in this episode ...I felt like crying when I saw him so harshly treated by Laura and abandonned by all the village. But the worse moment of the epie is when he began to drink and must be helped by Isaiah who would suffer from the same problem. Happily, all ends well. But here, our good Kevin surpassed himself as an actor. Wonderful acting job!
I'm jealous of God, since He has a so wonderful actor in Heaven.
We miss you terribily, our dear doctor!
