re-writing a Little House episode

has anyone ever thought of, tried to, or actually re-written a Little House episode? it'd be interesting to find out new ideas that people came up with!

I know a few of us have written fan fiction stories that extended things that happened in a certain episode, or went into more detail, and those are always fun to read (especially Cheryl's stories!) But, I don't know if anyone has re-written an entire episode. Awhile ago, we talked about trying to re-write the entire 9th season but at the time, we were all too busy to take on such a big project.

Thanks for the plug Christina. As for the Season 9 rewrite, believe it or not I began working on the first episode yesterday. I've been reading so many books that I needed to switch gears for a bit and I'm not ready to start on article writing at the moment...though I have an article due before we leave on vacation.

I've finished the first scene and hope to have it posted soon.

I'd personally like to rewrite "Whisper Country" but might need someone's help. It had an interesting premise, but something about it didn't ring true to me. That final scene went a little too smoothly. Plus, Mary should've been wearing her glasses in this episode. I'm also not sure if Mary acted the way a girl from that era would have. I could be wrong, but I think she would've been taught to be more passive with her elders. Of course I know the point of this episode was to show how Mary was brave enough to challenge some of this stigma, but I still think they overdid it.
