LH guest in Michigan commercial

I've been seeing a commercial where a guy comes out of his garage and there's a bike in the driveway that he is fixing. He wants Michigan residents to call their congressman about green jobs, I believe. I thought that guy looked familiar. I figured he was in LH or the Waltons. I just finished watching Barn Burner to see if it was him. I'm pretty sure the guy in the commercial is Tony Becker who played Zeke Larraby. He also played Drew on the Waltons. Has anybody else seen this commercial?

No, I haven't seen it Lori, but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled! Who was Zeke---I'm assuming that was the mean dad, and not one of his sons? I can't remember the first name of the father. Gosh, if it's Mr. Larraby, he must be really old by now, isn't he?!

Oh wow Lori, and you recognized him?! I don't think I'd remember...I'll have to see if I have one of those episodes!

Yep, I've seen him. I recognized him right away as Drew from The Waltons. Amy, he has a very distinctive voice....If you've seen him on The Waltons, you'd probably still recognize him, even if just by his voice.

I recognized him most from the Waltons. I remember those blue eyes! batEyes

The voice was the first thing I recognized. It's funny how things like a voice can bring up images from your childhood. I probably know him best from the Waltons, but I was pretty sure he had been on LH. He was in The Barnburner and The Craftsman.

With his graying hair, those blue eyes really stand out now.

Thanks for the pic Savannah---he does look familiar, probably from the LH episodes, but I wasn't heavily into the Waltons so I probably don't know him from that. I'm still going to be watching for that commercial!
