While stopping in Walnut Grove we couldn't help but have a little fun at the LIW museum. Here in the school house is Beth Ingalls-Leisses (teacher) Dorothy Ebert (standing in the corner) and of course myself and Marilyn Bryson. We all giggle when we look back on this photo.

This picture was also taken at the Walnut Grove museum. I think you all will recognize the mantel we are standing in front of, and yes it is the actual one from the tv Little House.

Boy did I have to sprint to get into this picture before the flash went off.

Can you spot Marilyn? This is a picture of the cottonwood trees that Pa planted out near the claim shanty. We sure had fun...

Wow, that must have been surreal standing in front of that mantle! And even being in the field where the 'real pa' planted those trees! What an amazing experience for all of you!

My favorite pic is definitely the schoolroom one----SO funny!! Marilyn, it looks like you really LOVE learning! Thumbsup

And Lorrie, you look like the class 'cut-up', like you're about to try to distract our studious Marilyn from her learning! Better hope Beth doesn't catch you not paying attention---you could be in the corner next! :Hahaha:

Oh Cool nice Pics i remember the school house from last when i was there and Also the mantel i really enjoyed walnut grove to i would like to go to de smet yet
