Introducing the ‘Little House on the Prairie’ Keeperships.
Keeperships are things from Little House that you take care of. You are the “Keeper” and protect your special item.

THE RULES

1. You must have a ranking status of 'Frontier Traveler with at leas 301 posts.

2. You are allowed ONE Keepership so please choose carefully. If you already have a keepership but want something different, you must “let go” of that item and choose another one. You will only be allowed to change your Keepership if you have had it for at least 4 months. If you want to know if you qualify for a new request, send me a PM because I have the dates of when your Keeperships were created.

3. The item must be from the television show, the books, or the real Laura Ingalls Wilder & her family.

4. The ‘item’ you choose can either a physical item, a character trait, like personality and actions. Example: Keeper of the Little House, Keeper of Caroline’s smile and Keeper of Almanzo & Laura’s first kiss. You are not allowed to choose body parts, people or huge things like Keeper of the town of Walnut Grove.

5. If you want a Keepership, read the list of Keeperships first, so you know what has already been taken.

6. I make the Keeperships. The only thing you have to do is tell me what you want to be the Keeper of and if there are certain colors you like. It’s YOUR special keepership so I want to customize it to your liking.

7. I am hosting the Keeperships in my Angelfire account BUT if you have a photobucket account and want to host the picture there, you can do that, just let me know so I can take it off my Angelfire account.

8. When your keepership is ready, I will send you a PRIVATE MESSAGE. To post the keepership, you go to your PROFILE, in the signature section you will write the following. . I will let you know what the URL link to your keepership is. Make sure there are NO spaces between the IMG tags or else your Keepership will not come out.

Yep, the list of keeperships above are all the ones that the members have claimed for themselves so far. It is so that new members can choose something that hasn't already been taken.

I was wondering about the keeperships too, I sent Carol a PM but have never heard back from her. Just wondering if she recieved it with the keeper I requested. Thanks

Carol and I were chatting the other day and she said that she is so busy and so far behind on things, she hasn't even been able to do what she needs to do here......Please be patient with her. She even thought about explaining to you all how to do the keeperships........Would you be willing to do that, or would you rather Carol do it for you? She does a wonderful job and it is well worth the wait, but with so much going on in her life as well as everyone else's, it is just a thought she had.

Hi everyone

I wanted to mention that from now on, whoever requests a Keepership must have a rank of 'Frontier Traveler' with at least 301 posts. The reason I am doing this is because I have had instances when fairly new members have requested a Keepership and after I give it to them, they no longer post on the forum or stay active.

I have several PMs about Keepership requests, I am sorry that I have not been able to create them yet, life has just been a little busier than usual and I'm trying to catch up on things, but I will get them done. I will also post the instructions on how to do a Keepership for those who want to try and create one themselves.

I also wanted to mention that Prairie Dweller, a forum member, created a really neat webpage that has all of the names of Keepership holders and their keeperships. Thank you so much, the page looks awesome!!!
