I like country music. I like the older country better than some of the new artist. My favorite song right now is The Blues Man sung by Alan Jackson. _________________

| The country I like is way old. Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, etc.
I think some of the best songs were written and sung long before most, if not all, of our times. You'd be surprised, knowing me as you do, but this is one of my favorites..

| I like a lot of that old school country, too. Merle, George Jones, Patsy Cline... That Skeeter video brought back a lot of memories. I remember that song well from when I was a kid. Very pretty song. Thanks for the link, Larry. |

You're welcome Rob. I was gonna put up one of her singing it on Ed Sullivan or some show like that, but it didn't have the harmonies like the 45 version, so I didn't like it as well. |

| I like the olden-golden days of country music. Stringbean, The Carter Family, Gene Autry, Hank Williams, Flat & Scruggs, Doyle Lawson...........though some of those are bluegrass, not country. But Bluegrass and Country were much more closely tied together back then. I love the old cowboy music, too. _________________

| I've always listened to Country Music. Living down here near Houston I've gotten to go to a few concerts. I've seen Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Tim and Faith and Lonestar. Rascal Flatts are going to be at Rodeo Houston in March and I really want to see them. I got Carrie Underwood and Keith Urbans CD for Christmas. They are both great! |
