I love Whitesnake! I couldn't even tell you which song is my favorite.
You've got me on YouTube now, listening to all of the Whitesnake videos.
Ugh! Too much Tawny Katain (sp?) though. I never realized just how many videos she was in. _________________

Oh I know what you mean, Pam. I liked Whitesnake until seeing too much of Tawny Kitain (or Katane Kataen...I can't spell her last name either LOL!!), I got turned off. Ughhhhhh!!!!!!! _________________ "Within the heart of every stray, lies the singular desire to be loved."

I know! It was very hard to pretend that I was Pamela Coverdale when I had her face popping up in all of those videos all the time! Especially the "Here I Go" one, where she's rolling around on the car. _________________

WHAT??? David married you too??? I thought I was the Mrs. Coverdale!! I could roll around on the car like that too, you know. But he said Tawny could do it better, so I divorced him. _________________ "Within the heart of every stray, lies the singular desire to be loved."

Oh, I would have so divorced him too over that!! Yeah, I left him and was Pamela Michaels for awhile. But now I've lost all respect for him too with that reality show of his.
I think we kinda hijacked Larry's thread. _________________

Pamela Michaels!! Oh I wanted your hubby, but since he married you, I became Lily Rose!!
See, if they had stayed with us, we would've tame those wild boys. _________________ "Within the heart of every stray, lies the singular desire to be loved."

I know of a couple rock songs from the 80s because my uncle was into rock/heavy metal. One time he was 'babysitting' us (I was 11, my brother 9 and my little cousin 7) and he bought pizza and drinks and a video for us to watch with him.
It was Pink Floyd's The Wall. If anyone else has seen that video can agree that it is really depressing and disturbing... I think halfway through it we were watching it with our mouths open but being kids and thinking we could talk about this video to our classmates, lol, just wanted to keep on watching.
But I do have to admit that the song 'Brick in the Wall' is one of my favorites. And I would like to dedicate the song to Mr. Applewood from the epidose "Troublemaker"
Okay, good. It's usually Savannah's threads that end up getting hijacked.
Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about in that movie, because every time I hear that song, after watching the movie, all I can think about is that scene! _________________

Oh Bon Jovi! He was also one of my hubbies back in the 80's! I remember going to a festival and my hair was just like Bon Jovi's and I had my old stone-washed jacket like his and one of the guys running one of the games said, "Hey, Mrs. Bon Jovi, why don't you come over and play my game?" It was such a great compliment. _________________

Here's a kind of oldie. It's about a poor little girl getting beat by her father. It's said, but a pretty song nonetheless. You know me, the King of the songs you've forgotten.

Dang this dialup. I can listen to the songs but it takes me forever! When you mentioned a girl getting beaten by her dad, I was thinking along another line, "Janie's Got a Gun" by Aerosmith.
Hey, if the "village idiot" title falls thru, you can always be the "king of songs!" _________________ "Do what you want but your never gonna break me...sticks & stones are never gonna shake me..."

Yeah, that dial up sucks. I never did a speed test while on it, but doing one on cable I push about 30,000 kbps d/l and 2500 upload, and you just can't get any faster than that.
But don't fret. Keep nagging the hubby 'til he gets you satellite. It's a LOT better.

It would be worth it. The speed is MUCH faster. It's not as fast as cable, but it's better than a lot I've seen.
Of course, if you can get cable in your area, that's the best way to go, but you living in the country, I didn't think you could. I think sat internet is around 50-75 dollars a month, depending on who you get it from.
