And who do you like singing it?
My favorite is "Little Drummer Boy" by Bob Seger. Another favorite is "Felice Navidad" by Jose Feliciano. Call me crazy but I even have these two songs on my ipod.
My husband the grinch seems to soften to Christmas music by Mannheim Steamroller.

I love almost all of the Christmas music. There are a few that I loathe - one in particular. It makes "Go Tell it on the Mountain" seem like one of my favorites. :Hahaha: But mostly, I love Christmas music.
A few favorites that I can think of are:
O Holy Night One Small Child What Child is This Sing We Now of Christmas Mary, Did You Know I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas (I know I know. But I like it!)

Savannah I suppose you liked "Puff the magic dragon" too huh? (I loved that song when I was a kid) My father was in the army and we traveled alot as kids. I remember being so upset at my brother for taking our album to school and leaving it behind when we moved. I think to this day I still hold that grudge against him. LOL

Here's my Bobby.... :woohooo: and you can enjoy the light show too. (Actually I was playing with the control features and wanted to see if I could do what Rob just did...lol) Rob I love that song too.
Do you think it would drive my neighbors crazy if I did this to my house? :Hahaha:

Without a doubt, my favourite Christmas carol of all time has got to be O Holy Night. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. I especially love this version by Irish group The Corrs. Not only the vocals but the piano is fantastic too.

Will you tell us your least favorite one if we guess it? Is it Jingle Bells?
It isn't Jingle Bells. And if you all promise not to torment me with it through the Christmas season, I'll let you know if you guess it, if you really want to know.

Oh...my...gosh. Please tell me that's illegal!
I have so many Christmas songs I adore that this is really really hard. For the longest time, it was "Do You Hear What I Hear". But last year, I have decided on a new favorite. I got a Christmas CD by "Susie Bogus" (short "o", not long ), a folk artist, and it's truly the BEST Christmas CD I've ever had. On it, she sings "I heard the Bells on Christmas Day". I have heard that song many, many times, but I have never truly listened to the words, but she has a way of making you do that. I think it's worth posting the words here, as I'm sure there's many that don't really know all the verses...
This is Susie B's version...she sings this so strongly and emotionally:
I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols play And mild and sweet the words repeat, Of peace on earth, good will to men.
Yet in despair I bow'd my head: "There is no peace on earth," I said, "For hate is strong, and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men."
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: "God is not dead, nor doth He sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, With peace on earth, good will to men."
Sure does serve as a reminder at Christmas that there is always hope, despite this crazy world we live in.

I love that song, Amy. I tried to find her singing it on youtube, but couldn't. Even the words are quite thought provoking, though.

Really Savannah, it's not on Youtube?! Oh no! Gosh, I didn't think she was that obsolete! She had sung at a benefit for my sister's organization. She is famous, I do know that, but odd there's nothing youtube. She's kind of a cross between country and folk, but you know me...I don't like country, so she leans toward folk. Darn...I'll have to go see if I can find her somewhere.
*EDIT* Well, gee, this might be the problem. Her name is spelled: Suzy Bogguss!! I couldn't have gotten that any more wrong if I'd tried! :haha:
Another edit: Well, I guess she's more country than I thought. But my Christmas CD only has one true country song on it, the rest is folk. Too bad it's not on Youtube. Well, here's a song to give you an idea, but I still think this is more country than she sounds on my CD:

I remember Suzy well. I bought one of her albums in the early '90s. She had a sweet country voice, and scored a few hits on the charts. But as I understand it, she was a victim of really bad timing. Just as her career was on the rise, she took a few years off to start a family. When she was ready to make a comeback, people like Shania Twain and Faith Hill had gotten huge, and the industry had pretty much forgotten about Suzy. It's a shame.
