Awww, he is so cute! We had a dog, Sheba, that was half husky, half golden retriever. One of the best dogs that we ever had! Sadly, she was run over last year.

Well, here is an update on my parents' new dog...

Here she is...the vet thinks she might have some Corgi in her:

She had her puppies last Saturday! 4 boys and a girl! We really lucked out...the vet's office that originally saw her and diagnosed her as 'pregnant' called the animal shelter and said they wanted to foster the dog and her pups! So she is now in the best of care! Two or three of the nurses there want to adopt a puppy too! So my parents are just waiting out the 6-8 weeks that it will take to bring Sophie home (they changed her name--none of us were fond of "Peaches", and she already has learned it!)....so it's taking longer than they'd planned when they originally signed up to adopt a dog, but I know she will be worth the wait!

I may be going to visit the puppies this week, so I'll get pictures of them then!

Well, today was the day! My parents finally got to bring their new dog home! Applause Her puppies are weaned, and all spoken for. Sophie was spayed today, so when I went to see her she was pretty drugged up, LOL, but she's being babied, as you can imagine! I couldn't even believe how little she is now...the picture above showed her late pregnancy weight! She is just a teeny little thing! I took pics, but with my parents' camera----I'll bring my own next time. I'm just so glad that everything worked out, and my parents decided she was worth the wait! She is one lucky girl indeed! Thumbsup

Here is a picture of "Sophie" carrying her new 'puppy'...LOL! My mom thought it was a good idea for her to have something to 'nurture' for awhile, and she absolutely loves this thing!

Rob, that puppy is one of the cutest puppy's I've ever seen!!

Well, some of these aren't really pet pictures, the goat and chickens are more like farm animals. lol. I don't really get very attached to the chickens and goats. I don't have any pictures of the dogs and the other 2 goats, hopefully I can take some tomorrow.

My cat, Tom. (I know, not a creative name for a tomcat, but hey! he likes it.)

Sweetie, my favorite goat.

and the chickens. None of them have names. That's only about half the chickens.

LOL, that she does! She's actually "Sophie" now...my parents changed her name. LOL, none of us are big on 'fruits' for names of dogs. greenS She's so smart she already comes to her new name!

Farmer Girl, those pics are darling!! Thanks for sharing them with us!! Thumbsup (I especially LOVE the goat picture...she looks so inquisitve! HeeHee ).

Tom has some beautiful markings. I love his mustache.

Sweetie looks like a sweetie. How old are Tom and Sweetie?

I like the name Sophie. How cute! I'm not one for fruit names for pets, either.

Farmer Girl, my oldest cat is named Thomas. He's about 11 years old now. (We don't know his age for certain. We adopted him ten years ago from the Animal Shelter.) He's been such a good cat. So I think the name "Tom" is wonderful for a tom cat. And your Tom is very handsome!
