Thanks guys! That's my favorite, too. I initially took those to give to my mother for mother's day in a pack. But then I forgot about them and didn't actually get them to her until Mother's Day about 2 or 3 years later (which, as it turns out, I think she appreciated them MORE after 2 or 3 years since Maggie wasn't that small anymore). So I'm not sure if that makes me a good son or a bad son. _________________ "Only if you've been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain."

My pets...err I mean a pet and hubby! David & Lucky Clifton on the 4-wheeler. Turns out, Lucky loves it & we did have a little crate strapped to it for him to ride in. Shiloh said it was in the way, so we took it off. We'll have to figure out something else. Anyway, this was before we strapped a rider for him to be in.

He says to tell you thank you. It's hard for me to believe that he started out so small! I have a picture of him from when he was two days old, and he was just soooooooooooo tiny! Not anymore! Fifteen pounds of hyper feline!

Misti, Lucky is adorable!! That's funny that he likes to go riding on the 4-wheeler. Sounds like he has a sense of adventure! Awww, Savannah, Opie is so sweet!! It's hard to believe how fast they grow! If Caeser keeps eating like he does he is going to end up being one fat kitty! That cat has an appetite. _________________

Thank you, Pam! They sure do grow fast...... It's funny........Someone told me that the spots on Opie's tummy could indicate that he was some "wild cat" in him. *Snort* I could have TOLD them that.

Thanks, everyone! Lucky is especially special to us since we've had him since he's been a week and a half old, April of 2002.. That first night, I didn't think he was gonna make it. We had a little carrier for him, I fed him out of an animal baby bottle, I would rub his tummy like a mom would and wash him and basically mothered him. Lucky: 4-2002 (He's the little spot on David's chest!) Another one:

Awww, he's so tiny!! His name is very fitting for him. He's lucky to be part of a family that cared so much about him, that he got a good start in life. _________________

Everyone has such cute pets! Not sure if we're going to go with a kitten or a puppy, we would like to get one sometime in the future. Of course, everytime I'm at pet stores I fall in love with each little critter...

I'm so behind on all the pet pictures!! There's too many to comment individually, but they're all just adorable! I can't believe how tiny some of them are/were! Jon, my parents are thinking about getting a Daschund. Do your parents like the breed? Are they high-strung at all? _________________

My mother likes dachsunds and always wanted one, which is why they got Maggie when they did. She's a very protective animal, very habitual, and very territorial (it takes a while before she can accept new people)... she basically doesn't respond very well to change at all. But I wouldn't know if that's just her or the entire breed since she's the only one I've ever had real experience with.
Once she gets to know you, though, she can be a lot of fun._________________ "Only if you've been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain." |
