I had to take my Dad to the hospital, and that's where we are right now. He has a blockage of some sort, and it looks like he'll be going in for surgery. I'll update as soon as I know anything.

Thank you, everyone! We're still here at the hospital, with no real updates. It seems to take forever. And Dad is in pain, so I'm really wanting them to HURRY. They've done several tests, but the results aren't back yet.

So, I'm here to hang out at the Prairie while Dad rests. Thank you again for your prayers.

They haven't given him anything yet. It just seems like it's taking so very long. Dad is at least resting now. So we can relax a little while he's in less pain.

No. Blue The tests are back, and the results are, too, but nobody has interpreted them yet. We've been here almost seven hours. I know that things take time, but I'm afraid I'm not very long on patience in this case.

I'm home now - Had to come home and feed the animals, and take Brianna (our dog) out. No word on the tests, but they did tell us that they won't be doing surgery tonight. They put a tube in my Dad to drain some of the liquid that's built up, and release some of the gas. They gave Dad some morphine, and then something for his nausea. It's a common med, but my head is throbbing, and I can't remember what it's called. But by the time we left tonight, he was in a LOT less pain. That was a big blessing for all of us.

Thank you so much for the prayers! I'm SO glad to be home. I'm exhausted. We'll be heading back over in the morning, and I'll bring the laptop along to try and keep in touch.

I feel selfish asking this with more serious things to think about........But the hospital is huge, and my ankle isn't taking it well. So if you could spare a prayer for my ankle........

It's good to hear your dad was in less pain Savannah. Wow.. you're right... your ankle might be getting some pressure from walking to and from the hospital. Try to stay off of it as much as possible.
Did they say what your dad had? Was it a heart attack?
