I have a friend named Anna, who, as a teen had cancer. It was a terrible ordeal, and the doctors gave up, and told her parents that she had less than two months to live - there was nothing more they could do. Well, God worked a miracle, and Anna is not only alive, she's also cancer free! The doctors told her that the treatments that she went through left her unable to have children. Early this year, she found out that she was pregnant, but a few months into the pregnancy, she lost the baby. Blue

Well, she found out that she's expecting again - and this time it's TWINS! Cheer

If you happen to think about her, I would so appreciate it if you would pray that Anna is able to give birth to these two precious babies, and that they'll be healthy and strong. She's wanted children for so long, and I know that she'd be a good Mama.

Thank you, all! This is so exciting - and scary, too. I'm thrilled for her to be expecting twins, but I don't think I'll be quite fully relieved until the babies are in her arms!

An update on Anna - She has reached the 30 week mark with the twins, and so far, so good! :woohooo: She's healthy, the babies are healthy, and the pregnancy is going along beautifully. Sorry that I couldn't update earlier, but she's been pretty busy with moving from one state to another, along with expecting twins - so I hadn't heard from her in quite a while.

Hmm, I missed this original post somehow, I'm sorry Savannah! This is great news, I'm glad to hear your friend is doing so well! It shouldn't be long now for the arrival of those beautiful babies! Does she know the sexes yet, or do they want it to be a surprise?

Welcome to the world, Walker and Wesley!! I just got off the phone, and Anna's twins were born last night - with healthy, strong lungs! One baby is 3 pounds, 1 ounce, and the other baby is 4 pounds 4 ounces. What a miracle! Thanks so much for praying about this!

There is one more prayer request for Anna - she has shingles on her eyes. So, if you could pray for her for that situtation.....Talk about good news/bad news. But God is able! Those two healthy baby boys are living evidence of that!

How wonderful! God is so amazing. We'll definitely keep Anna in prayer. Lorrie's husband is still dealing with complications from his shingles and I think it's been over a year now.
