| I'm very worried...You know I'm a teacher of young children from 13 to 16 years old...and the cases of "cuting themselves" are growing on since a couple of years. I'm very sad it IS hapenning, for teen years are among the best ones of our lifes, even if we have lots of new problems to deal with. I remember me when I was a teen, and also remember my friends from back then..We were full of hope and love to give and to receive, and sometimes we were depressed for we loved someone who wouldn't love us, or have afraid of what could become of our lives in the future...But it was just a moment , and all was allright again. Temporary depressions are normal when very young, but NOT so strong and overwhelming we had the need to cut ourselves.
The cases of suicide temptatives of young boys and girls is alarmingly going up...What are we doing wrong, we adults for having young people trying to say "good bye" to the world?
Rilla, the better way to solve a problem is facing it and fighting it...Not letting it to defeat you. NEVER. If you are a really Ingalls fan, and watchs the show regulary, you'll find there the answer to some of your answers and the strenght to fight problems.
