You apologized for rambling. Sometimes you have to let it out, and if you have good friends here, they won't mind at all. I have friends I've met on forums, and we ramble/offer support online (forums, email) and even by phone. Believe me, I know how to ramble, and thankfully I have people who are willing to listen, just like you have.
