More prayers needed.

My Mom just got back from the Doctor's office. They've put her on a third blood pressure med, because they still can't get her blood pressure down far enough to be really safe. Last year, they had been concerned that she may have kidney cancer, and next week they're going to be running more tests to see if it's there, but just hadn't been seen. If there's a tumor in the kidney, it can cause her blood pressure to be too high. Blue

So......we could use lots of prayers there.

Then, the children told me today, that John & April have mentioned possibly moving to Texas - which is incredibly far from here. They're used to at *least* being able to see Mom and me every day, even though they can't live with us right now. But to move that far away??

We need prayer there, too. This is hard enough as it is! John and April also told the children that they don't need our help when they lose their home/utilities. They can camp out in a tent. . . . . . . Well, it's getting COLD out now! I just don't understand why they're acting this way.

Savannah, please know that I am praying for the health of your dear mother. I pray they have good results with her tests and they can get her BP under control.

As far as the children are concerned, it is time for Child Protective Services to step in. There is no way 2 adults and 4 children can stay in a tent in the weather that will coming in the near future. Please call the attorney you spoke with and/or CPS and update them on this situation. If they can't afford to keep a roof over their heads now, what makes them think they can afford a move to Texas. These poor babies DON'T need this stress in their little lives. Someone has to put their foot down about all of this. Dragging children all over the place and scamming the government in order to survive is not going to do it. I am praying EXTRA hard for the situation with these sweet children.

I agree 100% with Rhonda - in fact when I first read your post before I saw her reply, I was going to say Child Protective Services will take the children away from John and April in a second if they see them living a tent in the colder weather! That is absolutely ridiculous. How can these people possibly think they're fit to be parents?

I will praying extra hard this weekend, that your children are able to go back to you and your mom who not only love them dearly, but give them everything they need. I'm also praying for your mom. Please keep us updated.

John and April sure are being stubborn about this. They must know that is in the best interest of the children to be back with you and your mom. I'll be praying for them and your mom.
