My aunt

I just found out today that my aunt is in the hospital sick with pneumonia. She hasn't been feeling well for quite some time. For the past six or so months, she has had very bad pain in her joints and been very tired, but every doctor she had gone to couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. We've been so worried, but finally she was beginning to make some progress when the doctors put her on radiation treatments. Unfortunately, those treatments lowered her immunity and she caught a bad case of pneumonia. She is in Intensive Care and hooked up to a ventilator b/c she is having trouble breathing. Please pray for her recovery. She hasn't had an easy life but through it all she has been the most faithful person I've ever known; she has always turned to God during times of everyone else's needs. She has a young daughter too, and I'm worried about my cousin, could you please also pray for her family? I would really appreciate it.

She lives across the country, so I rarely even see her. The thought of her being so sick and not being able to be there makes me so sad. I pray for the day when I can see her under good circumstances.

Christina, prayers are being said for your aunt. I know how it feels to be so far from the ones you love when they take ill. I pray for a full recovery so she can be able to go home.

Thank you all for your prayers, I appreciate them very much and I'm sure my family does too. No news yet today but it's weighing heavily on my mind. I'm hoping to hear from my uncle tonight or tomorrow to find out how she's doing. Thanks again, God Bless all of you <3

I will pray for your Aunt my dear...I hope she will be allright in no time. I don't know what's your aunt's age, but the cases of pneumonia are very common when a person becomes older. However, nowadays we have all sort of ways to fight these illness back. Don't loss your hope. group hug

Thank you so much for your prayers. As of today, I have good news! She is breahting on her own now and the doctors have said that her lungs are looking clearer, which means the pneumonia is getting better. They think the treatments she was on for her previous problem weakened her immune system and may have even resulted in the pneumonia, so they are working on a new treatment option for that. I'm just glad she's getting better, thank you all so much. It means a lot to me.

Glad to hear you're aunt is doing better, Christina! Pneumonia can be a scary thing, especially if she is older. Hope she'll continue to be on the mend!
