| My Dad's appointment with the surgeon went very well today. The surgeon said that my Dad is healing very well from the first surgery, and is ready to be scheduled for the reattachment surgery. So, May 14th is his next surgery. It could be tomorrow if it were up to my Dad.  But the surgeon insisted that it needs to be two full months between the surgeries. So, we're doing all that we can to build up my Dad's strength and prepare him for the next surgery. He'll likely spend at least seven days in the hospital again, depending on how the surgery goes.
Thank you again for all of your prayers. My family appreciates it more than you could know.

| Savannah, I'm glad they were able to give you a date. Tell your dad the time will go faster than he knows, and he'll be done with this surgery too! Prayers for him and for the rest of your family. {{hugs}}

| It's got to be hard waiting, but it is a little less than a month from now so hopefully it will go by quickly.
