Need prayers for my son Madison

Subject: Need prayers for my son Madison Tue Feb 26, 2008 2:12 pm

Hi everyone....I'm busy giving tylenol like crazy this week! My 11 yr old Madison has pneumonia and so far we've been able to avoid the hospital. He has been given two antibiotic shots and is on strong meds. He has asthma anyway, so this is going to take a while to recover. Our biggest fight right now is high fever.
He was up long enough to play battleship for a while, but as soon as the destroyer went down so did he..... (Thats his favorite!). Keep those prayers going up and I'm sure he'll be back to normal soon.....Thanks a ton!-------------Smiles...Gin Sick2

Aw, I'm sorry to hear your little man is so sick Gin...Pneumonia is nothing to mess with! I hope he'll be able to continue to do well at home. I'll be praying.

Wow! I know how dangerous pneumonia and respiratory viruses can be for asthmatics, so I'm glad to hear he's got some strong meds to help him. We'll certainly be praying for Madison. Keep us posted Gin!

Oh Gin I Hope he feels better soon I'll Pray for him I Know how this dangerous pneumonia is my mom had it once she was in the Hosiptsal for 3 Days and Sick at home for a Few Weeks and My Grandmother Died Of pneumonia but of course this was Years ago My mom was 13 when she died The Doctors Did't know as much as they do now now pneumonia is Kind of like a Just a Plain Cold For the Doctors Bye Give him rest and Don't Worry Wave

Hello all you Prairiedogs!
I'm a little crazy today...been in the house almost all week. Things are better with Mads. He didnt have fever last night for the first time in a week. (Its been almost 104!) I even caught HIM chasing the dog this morning! Had to slow him down. That poor dog has stayed by his bed all week.
My newest problem started Wednesday morning though. Nathan, my 14 yr old woke up with poison ivy in both eyes, in one ear AND a his manly area!!!!! He was out of school Monday and had been at the park with friends climbing trees. SO by the time I could get him to the doctor Wed. afternoon his face looked alot like Will Smith's in HITCH!
SO both my guys are at home the rest of the week. I am hoping that in a few more days we will be normal again....maybe.
I doubt these two will EVER want to be sick at the same time again.....why? Because I declared a Little House Marathon on them this morning!!! Funny thing is they loved it!!! ROTFL

Ya...we did watch "The Campout", "Plague" and ended it on a better note with "The Voice of Tinker Jones."
Nathan felt sorry for the Oleson's for getting the poison ivy. Madison could relate totally with all the fever in Plague.
AND as for me...I'm just glad we have Doctors like we do now.

The boys are doing ok today. The steroid Nathan is on is making him hyper...but he is anyway. He's been singing at the top of his lungs today! Sing

Madison is still showing just a low grade fever...so I think we will be fine now.

{{{Gin}}} I'm glad that Madison is doing better. We went through pneumonia with an asthmatic little one, and it's scary business. Now to get everyone well, so you can all go outdoors and get rid of the CrAzIeS that always overtake a family when everyone gets sick at once!

I'm happy for Mads..But poor Nathan! I know how he is feeling, poor guy, since time to time, I have allergenic troubles. Nothing serious, of course, but VERY annoying.

I've add Nathan to my daily prayers. It's alright
