Thank you all for praying. I have been on the liquid diet from Thursday til Saturday and have begun to slowly add solids over the past few meals. The pain isn't as bad as it was when this all started but it is still acting up at times. It was much less painful on the liquids so I am almost afraid to eat solids but I have to follow dr's orders. I have to call him tomorrow and let him kow how things are and go from there.
You are all great prayer warriors. Where would I be without you??

That's good that you were at least able to introduce some solid food on Easter, of all days! I will continue to be praying for you Marilyn...you must be so frustrated!

I had been eating solid foods for 2 days and they symptoms got worse so the dr told me to stay on the liquids for a few more days.

Today was definately not a good day. The pain is getting worse I think. As I sit here I can feel it and am thinking that I have to go and lie down for awhile. I think I will be calling the dr tomorrow. I am still on the liquids, have been really dilligent about no solids but it is still so sore. Please keep praying for me. I will keep you updated.

I didn't go to work today. Yesterday just wore me out. I tried to call the dr this morning when the office opened but my dr was leaving at 11 am and so I have to call back again tomorrow morning to see if he can fit me in. I thought about going in to work for a few hours but then just moving quickly to get ready and out the door made me remember the day I had yesterday so I decided to stay home and rest. I will go to work tomorrow and have a talk with my boss. She is very understanding so I hope that when I call the dr tomorrow, I will be able to go and see him and not have angry co-workers.

I went to work this morning and mom called the dr. I left work at
9:50 and the dr was waiting for me when I arrived. After a brief
exam, he wrote out info about what was going on and sent me to the
Emergency Room. I got there at 11 and was there til 7:30. I didn't
get seen til 5 so it was a very long painful afternoon sitting in a
chair trying to get comfortable.
I had to have xrays and was supposed to have an ultrasound but the
technicians had home home and so I have to go back tomorrow at 9 am
for an ultrasound and then go back to the ER so the dr can look at
what it all means. He thinks I have diverticilutus (sp?), a bowel
problem that he briefly explained but I was writhing so i wasn't
paying as much attention as I should have been.
Please pray for me. It hurts so much.

I went back to the hospital for an ultrasound for 9 am. That took about 20 minutes and then I had to go back to Emerg and the whole rigamaroll again. I got called at around 1:30. It was a very loooong day. I was given 2 shots of morphine for the pain. Wow, what a buzzzzz. In the end, all of my tests came out ok. My dr and the drs kept mentioning diverticulitus but in the end they didn't say that I had it. I was given 2 types of meds last night and so I will be on them for 10 days. I am taking the first 2 days off next week to rest and then will go and see my dr next Friday.
As I type this I am still under the influence of the morphine sos please forgive any errors or unfinished thoughts. I know you love me so I hope it won't be a problem, lol.

Morphine can be interesting. I was on it after my c-section with Devin. I had remembered calling people on the phone, but I had no idea what I said to them! OhMy
