Please pray for my family

We've got a lot going on lately!

On Wednesday my dad had total knee replacement on one of his knees. He is 73-years-old. He will probably be out of the hospital sometime this weekend and then he starts physical therapy. He will be scheduled for the other knee to be done later down the line.

My mom is so funny! Here is a picture of him on his way to surgery!

Here is his knee all dolled up!

Damis is scheduled to take his Math TAKS within the next two weeks. This is the last thing standing between him & graduating with his class, and the third time to take it. I hope & pray he passes it this time. It will be a big load off my mind.

He also will be doing some studying for the miltary test for the National Guard. The outcome of that will determine his bonus and what he will be studying. He wants to get at least a 50 on it so he can go study to be an EMT-Paramedic.

I'll be praying for your dad and for Damis. Knee surgery seems to run in the family on Bill's side, so I'm not too optimisitc about him for the future either. I hope your dad's recovery goes well. And wow, Damis is a Senior?! I just can't believe how quickly it seems our kids are growing up. It's truly amazing when you think about some of us being on the board for a decade or longer now...we've literally 'watched' each other's kids grow up! I hope he passes the test Misti, and eventually the military test. Being an EMT is a great aspiration! Thumbsup

Amy, you are so right about watching each other's kids grow up....Josh was only 8 when I joined Aaron's LH Forum, and now he is 19.........
