Did anyone here about this? My heart sank when I read this because Matt lives in NYC. I don't know how near or far he lives from this. I hope he is okay. Unsure No Please pray that he is and also pray for those effected by this tragedy.

What a tragedy that was. It was confirmed that 6 construction workers killed and 1 lady from Florida came here for St. Patrick's parade, got killed also. I remembered one part that I read from the paper yesterday that gave me such a big lump in my throat, was from a guy that said, he was in his daughter's room, when the crane was falling, he actually saw the 2 construction workers inside the crane screamming, falling passing his daughter's window, he saw their doomed faces. It was such a helpless feeling at that moment. No

They arrested the city inspector for falsifying records. He did not do the inspections he claimed to have done, then had to clean up the records so it looks like he did. He's only going to get four years in jail.
