We just found out today that Tim (my husband) has colon cancer. We are all still in shock and don't know what to think at this point. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Pam, please know that I am praying for Tim, as well as you and your dear sweet family. God is good and listens to prayers. Be strong for Tim and help him to stay postive, that is 95% of the treatment....

Pam, I am so sorry to hear about Tim's diagnosis. He will continue to be in my prayers. Did the doctors give you any further details about treatment? Did they catch it at the early stages? I pray that they did.

He is going for a CAT scan later today, so hopefully we will find out more soon. We don't know how bad it is yet. Thank you for the prayers.

Pam, have you heard anything yet?

No, we haven't heard anything. They just did the CT scan this evening, but they don't tell you anything. He has an appointment Thursday with the surgeon. Hopefully, we'll hear something then. Then the next step is the oncologist on Monday. At least things are happening fast.

Pam I can only echo what everyone has said. I hope you know that we are all gathering near you and will remember to ask God to stand with you now too. I will pray for all Doctors involved in Tim's care.

Pam, how are you doing?

I'm actually doing okay right now. Tomorrow we'll find out more, and if it's bad news, I may have a meltdown (NOT in front of Tim though), but I'm holding up and okay, and most importantly, so is he. Somehow, I've been blessed with pretty good coping skills, which definitely is a bonus in situations like this. Thanks so much for asking.
