A dear friend of mine has a black lab named Harry. Harry is my friend's baby, and pretty much her only "family". Harry is very sick, and in an animal hospital. He hasn't been eating or drinking - and when he did eat, he would throw it up right away. His calcium levels are dangerously high, and they have no idea what's going on with him. They've run dozens of tests, checked for everything they can think of, and still have no answers. (Over $1,000 later!) Please pray for Harry, and for my friend Susan. She's pretty distraught over the whole ordeal, and feels awful that she can't help her Harry dog. Blue

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's dog, Savannah :( I know how much we become attached to our animal friends and they become part of the family. I'll pray for his recovery and for your friend to have the strength she needs.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've had some hard times with my pets this year. As you all know I lost my Oscar.Blue Then we lost the red puppy on Easter Sunday we was going to keep. Shortly after my cat died. Last week our 3 legged boxer Raz died. We had him for 9 years. I was with him till the end. The year just being half over I hate to think what else could happen. My thoughts and prayers are with Harry. I pray that he has a speedy recovery. Pets do become part of the family. They are like kids.

Well, the two "final" tests they ran came back negative. It isn't his thyroid, and it isn't the other disease that they were thinking. So now they're thinking that it may be cancer. They're sending him on to a specialist, after a local vet runs an ultrasound on him. She offered to do it for free! She's hoping that the ultrasound may give some answers as to what's going on.

Pray for him. Prayers had a great power, you know. I was a similar trouble with Yannick, my elderly dog. He spend two days in an Animal Hospital and he died there without they could find what he had. Science is too developped , but intuitions and feelings, aren't. I think he must have died among us, and not in an unknown place. Now, I have his ashes with me...It's so sad.

Poor Raz...I didn't know about his death. bawling
