Prayers for friends

Tim found out about the loss of someone very special to him yesterday. He is friends with the whole family really and has known them forever. There are 5 boys in the family and one daughter. Tim has played music with a few of the sons and dated the daughter. Tim found out just last week that their father had colon cancer and was in the hospital recovering from surgery. Tim called him Pops too, and I've always only known him as Pops. Pops came home from the hospital last Thursday and by Sunday was having severe complications and had to be readmitted to the hospital on Sunday. Monday, Pops passed away. Of course the whole family is in shock and they are having a very difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Pops was one of the nicest people I ever met. He had a gentle kindness about him and he was an amazing saxophone player. Tim was fortunate enough to have been able to play with him while he was in a band with one of Pops sons. He will be greatly missed.

Praying for "Pops" family and for Tim as well......It is hard losing someone that you are so close to as Tim did........
