My youngest son told me that one of the secretaries at the high school is having surgery today in Little Rock for a brain tumor. She is the sweetest woman and all my boys loved her to death. Her name is Robin White and I know that she and her family would appreciate the prayers. My son said they had an hour long prayer session for her today in the Student Union. I think it is wonderful that the kids could get together on school property and pray for this wonderful woman. Please pray for her and the students who miss her dearly. I believe she is in her late 30's early 40's.........thanks everyone..... Unsure

Thanks everyone.....here is the latest update on Robin....

Cassen (Robin's daughter) said that it was larger than they thought. It has ‘fingers’ and part of it was wrapped around a blood vessel so they were not able to remove it all. Hopefully radiation will keep the remaining from growing.

She woke up after surgery earlier than they expected. She was able to tell them the names of her children but not the correct year or who was President.

She’ll continue to need all our prayers for a long time. Blue

Another request.......during the snow storm 2 weeks ago, a little 5 year old boy fell into the pond in his yard. He was in it for an hour before getting pulled out. He was taken to Children's Hospital in Little Rock and there was a glimmer of hope for him because the icy water slowed his body down and gave it a fighting chance. They announced last night in the news that this little boy had died. It breaks my heart and I know his family is grieving. What hurts more is the fact that I know this family personally, as his father was a client at the lawfirm for well over 2 years. He has 4 children and this was his only boy, and I just sent out a get well card to Tylor yesterday........ bawling Please pray for their grief at this time, it is going to be a rough and rocky road. Thanks..........

Robin Denise White

Robin Denise White, 44, of Greenwood passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a receptionist at Greenwood High School and a member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Greenwood First Baptist Church with a private interment service at Duncan Cemetery in Waldron under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

She is survived by her husband, James White of the home; one daughter, McKinzie White of the home; two sons, Brian White of Fayetteville and Hunter White of the home; her parents, Dennis and T.J. McKinzie of Fort Smith; one brother, Tony McKinzie of Oklahoma; and a special aunt, Patty Martin of Waldron.
