The white stuff is now coming down faster than a summer downpour. By morning I'll need more than a shovel to dig my way out. I might lose Internet access, as my provider is already having issues. Try not to have fun without me.

I think I need a sleigh. We woke up to 10 inches; it's probably double that now and the snow is still falling like crazy. The wind has picked up, so drifts are high. I literally can't see Sarah when she's out playing because the mounds of snow are as high as she is.

Holey moley, Cheryl! How much more are you supposed to get?

Wow! Looks like Florida's the only state that's all green. But just barely... that snow line looks awfully close to the panhandle.

It's just starting to slow down now. I went outside to clear around the back doors. The snow was 21 inches deep all the way around the house. Paul cleared the driveway this morning, leave mounds of snow that are over 4 feet high. Once I get some pictures I'll post some of them. They are calling this the worst blizzard since 1978.

We have around 4"-5" of snow on the ground and everywhere else......it is still coming down....we were only to get 1"-2", but as usual, the weatherman was wrong.....I am supposed to go to another town, but not 100% sure I want to try.....we'll just have to see....Anyway, hope all of you that love snow are enjoying it......My son's dog that I am taking care of is loving it.....he's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he wears the name Bull really well.....he puts his head in the snow and bulldozes through the yard.....a sight to see!!! laugh3

It's official, if we get one more snow storm the mounds at the end of my driveaway will be taller than me. We had 3 feet on the ground already with mounds over 4 feet high, and today the girls are home after another 8 inches fell overnight.

We didn't get hit anywhere as bad as NY and D.C., but I would really like a reprieve. A couple more inches is expected over the weekend, so it doesn't look like we'll get one anytime soon.

The mounds at the end of our driveway are very close to being as tall as I am. It's snowing now, so when I shovel later they might be taller than me.

Aw, I feel bad complaining about another 3 inches here LOL. That's just enough to make it messy getting to work. We've been getting a lot of little snowfalls like that - probably the largest was 6 inches last week - but it makes me think we're due for a big storm. I don't mind it, if it's on the weekend and I don't have to drive anywhere - that way I can actually look out the window and enjoy it. But still...spring can't come fast enough! LOL.

I'm hearing 30% chance for us tomorrow night. But don't get excited...I'm not. I will just have to see to believe.

LOL Larry! Cheryl, you have such a beautiful home! (I'm with Larry...I'd like to move in too----but I'm not going to live with Larry in the shed. I'll take a spare bedroom, thank you. batEyes ).

That is a LOT of snow! WOW. Yikes

We could be getting 15 inches here on Wednesday....somehow that doesn't seem like all that much anymore! HeeHee

Thanks everyone. Larry, the shed isn't heated and it has no electricity, so you better wear your longjohns. Oh, and you would need to crawl in through the window because we can't get the doors open. They are both blocked by snow.

Amy, my office is the spare bedroom, so you would have to rough it on the futon in the bonus room above the garage--also a cold room, though not half as bad as the shed.

By the way, if you saw what my kids did to the inside of my house, you might not want to move in here. It's kind of like me with clothes on--it looks much better that way. laugh3

If you're coming, you best book your flights for today. We have storms the next two days and are due to get another 12-16 inches. Oh joy!

Laughing You are too funny!

And yeah, the weather certainly doesn't sound any better there than here! Cheryl, that is a LOT of snow....can you recall when you've ever been hit this hard? How long has it been since you've had this much snow?

We're getting pounded on right now. I am watching the LH episode "Survival", in honor of our first 'majorl' snowstorm in ages. I figure a few 'blizzardy' LH episodes are in order! Thumbsup

What's happening out there everyone?? I know we Michiganders aren't the only ones facing this blizzard! We're due to get 15 inches where I live. How about everyone else? Rob, how's it looking up north?

We got a little bit of snow last night, followed by freezing rain. Round 2 is supposed to move in around midnight with freezing rain.. They are predicting a quarter of an inch to a half an inch of ice by tomorrow morning. I can handle snow, but not ice.. No

Amy, we seem to be on the very northern outskirts of the storm system. They say about 3-5 inches, tops.

Oh Debbie, I feel for you. I'm with you....I'll take snow anyday over ice. Be safe! (nice to see you posting again, by the way! You've been missed Debbie! Smile )

Got a text from Rhonda yesterday. She may not be online for a few days, as she cannot get to the library. She says they have snow and ice. Hoping she stays inside....
I'll check with her later today....
