| Personal connection here - he was a very good bridge player and friends with my father who was a grandmaster and author of bridge books.
I met Omar twice, once on my 12th Birthday in 1978 and again around 1981 when he came to our house for dinner. He was charming and sophisticated.

| Very impressive. I also know the rudiments, but these days I just stick to the occasional game of Hearts against my computer. Hearts is like Bridge Lite.  | |
