It was 38 years ago today...

...July 20th, 1969, that the first men landed on the moon. Is anyone beside me old enough to remember that amazing day?

Sorry man, that was just 8 days past my first birthday. Don't remember it except from the history books.

I wasn't even a twinkle in my Daddy's eye yet.........

I'm kind of bummed that I missed out on seeing the first man land on the moon. What an amazing moment in history!

Hmm my mum was only 5 and my dad was 9 that day so needless to say I didn´t see it ;)but I have seen it on tv. Haven´t seen it in history books though. But I saw the flag waving on the moon ;)

I wanted to see it so bad that I was kicking my mom in her belly, but she won't let me out so I missed it.

I was 3, don't remember much from those days, sorry!!

I was seven years old at the time, so I'm sure my Mom and Dad must have been watching it on television at the time. Guess I was too busy with the Brady Bunch to pay attention at the time...

Yeah, if you were a kid who was interested in space travel, the summer of '69 was a great time.

Of course I wasn't there but I heard so much of Woodstock Festival of '69. By any chance Rob, were you there? Somehow I can picture you as a hippie back in the days. :haha:

Nah, I was too young to go to Woodstock. So I just sat naked in the mud in my backyard, painted my face, and sang me some righteous Hendrix tunes. I'm trying to remember whether the whole experience was groovy or far out. I'm thinking groovy. Yes... definitely groovy, man.
