The other day on Reddit someone posted their attempt to replicate In-N-Out's Double Animal Style Burger.  I'm trying it tonight.  yes  The full how-to is in the link beneath the pic...

It's good, Mimi! I've never had a real In-N-Out, so I don't know how it compares. My sister tried the recipe and she and her husband are crazy about them! As for me, I still prefer burgers the way my Mom made them. Just fry them up, bun them, and put them in a roaster in a hot oven for about 5-10 minutes. Very simple, but oh so good!

No, I haven't had an In and Out burger either (are those even in Michigan?)....but it sounds yummy! I am interested in trying it your way too....in a roaster for a bit, huh?! Who knew??? (We always grill ours...)

This shows the In-N-Out locations.  It would be quite a drive for us.  Smile  My Mom used the roaster method ever since I was a kid, so that's always been my default burger.   Thumbsup

I've never had one. I see it's closer to San Antonio than Houston. Looked really good, but with my jaw still working on a new hinge I probably couldn't get my mouth open around that.

When I had it, I made it as a single-decker. Much easier to shove into my face.
