Ronnie Claire Edwards, a veteran actress who is best known for playing Corabeth Godsey on “The Waltons” has died. She was 83 years old.

That's too bad. She was an integral part of The Waltons for a long time. Played a very complex character that weaved it's way into so many story lines. She played one of those characters that you loved and could hate at the same time. Similar to Mrs Oleson. Always called her husband MR. Godsey........Her scenes with Rachel Longaker were especially touching...........RIP

I didn't see it until today about Ronnie Claire passing away back in June. RIP, Ronnie Claire. RIP
