PostSubject: Prayers for Sebastian County, Arkansas   Fri Aug 12, 2016 6:43 am

I posted this on my facebook page and wanted to bring it over here as well.  We need all the prayers we can get. Thank you in advance!
Wanted to add that the search with the plane turned up empty....

"I wanted to post this earlier, but was hoping for some good news before doing so. Most of you have heard about the Sebastian County Sheriff and Hackett Chief of Police that were shot Wednesday while responding to a call. Chief's head grazed and released from hospital, Deputy Cooper (no relation) shot in the neck and passed away shortly after 1:00 pm. This all happened in the county that I lived in from 1989-2010 before moving here. My boys still live there and this really rocked the whole community, as well as the whole State of Arkansas. I am asking for prayers for the community as well as the Cooper family as they lay 'Coop' to rest on Tuesday.

Along with these prayers, I ask that you say a prayer that K-9 Officer Kina will be found safe and alive. She was in her kennel in the K-9 unit when it took gunfire. Her partner and handler opened the trunk for her to take cover but instead, she bolted. Her handler/partner had to have an IV last night because he was so dehydrated while looking for her yesterday. Tonight will be the second night of her being out in the woods, hurt and scared. Search and Rescue, Police, Fire Dept., and volunteers from all over have all been out searching for Kina. Tonight, they will have a plane flying low with heat sensors to see if they can find her that way. Please pray that Kina can be found and all who are looking for her will be safe. Thank you! And please, Back the Blue!
Keep up with K-9 Officer Kina here: Greenwood Arkansas Police Department"

Just found out she was found at Wyatt's Great Grandma's house!!!

From GWPD: Kina was shot twice. Both have entrance and exit wounds. We have reached the vet and will keep everyone up to date with info. She's about to get X-rays. Thank you so much for all the prayers. They worked!

What a blessing she was found. It's even scarier these days to be a cop than it used to be. Will definitely keep them all up in prayer.

I will keep these officers and their families in my thoughts. I am so glad to hear that K-9 Officer Kina was found as well.
