| This isn't really an episode review, but one thought I had while watching this was, how would this episode have played out had Mary never met Adam and was still living at home? Any ideas? | |

| What happened in the episode? I remember Bolger being in an episode, but have not seen it in years. | |

| Toby Noe came to town & tried to win the heart of an cranky old spinster. Meanwhile Laura had a crush on a boy and tried to get him to ask her to the dance. If Mary were still living at home, would anyone have asked her to the dance now that she was blind, and would Laura feel awkward about talking to Mary about her boy troubles? | |

| If Mary were still at home, she would probably be sitting around feeling sorry for herself. She needed the help that the blind school provided to get by the pain of what happened to her. If someone was brave enough to ask her, I'm not sure she would have treated them any nicer than she did Seth.
I'm not sure Laura would ever feel comfortable talking to Mary about her boy troubles, whether Mary was blind or not. In the episode, The Rivals, she ends up talking to Nellie about how to attract boys. I think at some point she also asks Mary how she attracts so many boys, but Mary really doesn't know the answer. | |

| Well...Mary WAS already married in this one and was living along with Adam at the school for the blind. I don't know whay Laura didn't speak to her about her troubles. Mary was blind , but not stupid. She had been in love with two or three young men from Walnut Grove, and was ever ready to marry John Jr. Then, she had married Adam Kendall, so she knew very well what love was. However, even if we can experience love, it's hard to translate the experience to others and to teach your friends - here, your own sister-"how to feel in love". Mary knew love in practice, but not "in theory". It makes any sense? Vanesa. | |

| Remember this quote from "Dance With Me"
Laura-"Albert, can you do me a big favor?" Albert-"Sure, Anything." Laura-"GO TO BED"
