PostSubject: Mandie books, has anyone read them?   Wed Jan 04, 2017 8:04 am

I picked up a book at my library used book store with three Mandie stories by Lois Gladys Leppard, and really liked it. It was so good that I ended up ordering the entire series of books! HeeHee Anyone else like the Mandie books?

I think there are around 40 in all, but I got the 11 volumes (more than one book in one) on a Cyber Monday sale. It was cheaper that way.

Yup, I've heard of them! I read them when I was younger.

Matthew, have you ever read the Grandma's Attic books by Arleta Richardson? They're set in Michigan, and they're fantastic! When I was a teenager, one of the girls I was babysitting BEGGED me to read one of them, and I said that I would, mostly just to humor her...But I LOVED them. I still do. HeeHee

Savannah, no, I have never read any of that series. I had never even heard of them before you mentioned them. They do look interesting! I will have to keep an eye out for them. Thanks for telling me about them!

Ohhhhh, I think you'd love them! I'll look and see if I have any spares. Whenever I see them at yard sales and such, I can't help but buy them. HeeHee
