Melissa Gilbert's LHOTP Audition

I've never seen this before, very cool!

I love that... it's on the special features of the remastered edition of season 1.

I loved it.

Love the story of how her audition tape was the only one that Michael Landon showed to NBC.

i saw that she had said "Pa" too late but she as sooooo cute.

I missed this post last year, sorry.  I just saw this article that Melissa Gilbert shared on her facebook page, since today is her birthday.  The article shares her audition video (which I had never seen...how is that possible?!), and also shares an interview with her reminiscing about the show. Some things I had never heard about in that interview as well.  Worth the read!

I can't get over the connection Michael and Melissa shared, even from day one.  There is no way to describe in words, 'what' that was. Just magical and beautiful.
